Kamijo Masterpiece

For thirty years, KAMIJO has been a prominent figure within the visual kei genre. To commemorate his long-standing career, he has announced the release of his Best Album MASTERPIECE. The album will include 38 tracks across three CDs, including not only his single releases, but also music from KAMIJO’s albums Symphony of the Vampire and Sang.

Symphony of the Vampire was released in 2014 as a concept album based on an alternate history of Louis XVII. It encompasses a mixture of power and thrash metal, while still incorporating KAMIJO’s signature orchestral sound. In 2018, Sang was released and was an elegant addition to KAMIJO’s discography, providing listeners with a cinematic metal experience. The deluxe version of the Best Album MASTERPIECE will include a DVD of live performances, some of which have never been released. The album will be available on July 9, just prior to KAMIJO’s relocation to Los Angeles, California.
