Matsuri-themed idol unit FES☆TIVE performed a solo show at Kawasaki Club CITTA on October 10 in celebration of member Yuna Sakamoto’s birthday. Beginning with “Dondoko Matsurythm Moeagare Taiko-chan”, the group performed a total of fifteen songs. FES☆TIVE were passionate about their camaraderie: “If FES☆TIVE didn’t exist, I wouldn’t exist,” said Sakamoto to leader Reia Shiozaki. Shiozaki replied that if it were not for Sakamoto, it would be challenging for her to be the youngest member and leader of the group.
Though the group was concerned about attendance until just prior to their performance, 700 fans flocked to the venue. FES☆TIVE became quite emotional during “Tokyo Dream Parade”, tears streaming down their faces while singing. The stage of Club Citta lit up with the glow of the entry-gift wristbands and lazers. During the encore song, FES☆TIVE members returned to the stage dressed in bright red Yoshimoto Yutanuki Design T-shirt. While ordinarily the shirts say FESTIBLUESKY, the shirts were emblazoned with FESTIREDSKY in honor of Sakamoto. The birthday celebration performance ended on a high note with “Magical Parade”.
