Actor Hikaru Makishima has announced details of his first mini album Gouache, scheduled for release on February 25, 2026. The release includes seven tracks, featuring the title song “Gouache”, for which Makishima wrote the lyrics himself, and “Gypso,” an album version of the opening theme for the TV anime A Gentle Noble’s Vacation Recommendation.
The mini album will be released in regular and limited editions. The limited edition will include a DVD containing recording footage and behind-the-scenes making videos related to the album’s production.
Makishima’s official YouTube channel has released a preview video for “Gouache”, along with an anime collaboration music video for “Gypso” that incorporates footage from A Gentle Noble’s Vacation Recommendation, providing an early look at the project ahead of the album’s release.

To coincide with the launch, Makishima will hold a mini concert and special release event on February 25 at animate hall BLACK in Tokyo, where he is scheduled to perform songs from Gouache and meet fans in person.
In addition to his music activities, Makishima maintains an active acting career across stage and film. His stage credits include Lychee☆Light Club and Hamlet Q1, and his film appearances include Kaigan Dori no Nekomimi Tantei and Outro Double.
Makishima commented on the project by stating, “This is the first time I have released music under my own name, and I put my honest feelings into the lyrics of ‘Gouache’. I hope listeners can feel the energy behind it.”
