
Wasuta – The World Standard – has announced the group will perform its final concert at the end of this year.
In a message posted to social media today, the group thanked fans for 11 years of support since their formation in 2015 and revealed that the members would each be taking a different path in the future. Known for colorful costumes and fantasy themes in their songs and music videos, the group has traveled the world and contributed to the anime series “Idle Time PriPara” and “Kiratto Puri☆Chan.”
In October 2019, Wasuta held their first free live concert with a live band at Yoyogi Park Outdoor Stage, attracting over 3,000 fans. They have held solo concerts at numerous venues, including LINE CUBE SHIBUYA, Toyosu PIT, and TOKYO DOME CITY HALL.
Since 2021, Wasuta has performed as a four-member unit with Nanase Hirokawa, Miri Matsuda, Ririka Kodama, and Ruka Mishina. Founding member Hazuki Sakamoto left the group on December 31, 2021, and retired from the industry.
