Akihabara shoppers peek through the mask in Kamen Joshi’s Yahoo campaign

Kamen Joshi Akihabara Yahoo Campaign

Kamen Joshi’s strict rules normally forbid them from removing their masks outside the the P.A.R.M.S. Theater, where they perform over 1000 shows a year, but shoppers outside Akihabara’s Yodobashi Camera will get a chance to literally see behind the mask in a special “Follow Me!” campaign display presented by Yahoo! Japan.

The display will run from September 25-29, 2017, and features Kamen Joshi’s iconic hockey masks. Viewers must put on headphones and bring their faces close to the masks to look through the eyes, where a special “up-close” video greeting from one of the members without her mask will play. (see preview below)

Visitors can also scan a special QR code to view exclusive Kamen Joshi contents when they sign up to follow news alerts via Yahoo! Japan.
