Japanese girls rock band BRATS has released the second single of their 7-month streak of new tracks, the heavy rock anthem “No more No more”. The song’s dark and aggressive lyrics tackle the modern temptations of money and insta-fame culture from a young woman’s point of view, with the single’s key image shot on the neon streets of Hollywood, California.
Vocalist Rei delivers one of her most emotional recorded performances to date with a searing chorus rejecting the life of a “money junkie” and proclaiming “A life for money? No more no more!”
“No more No more” comes just a few weeks after “Excuser”, the first new track of BRATS’ 2020 release challenge, with new digital singles scheduled for release monthly through July. BRATS recently performed the new songs along with the upcoming “Ms. Downer” at their special “Shooting BRATS” event at Shibuya Club Crawl on February 11, where fans had a chance to be included in an upcoming music video.

BRATS began in August 2011 when Rei Kuromiya became a vocalist at the age of 10. Rei’s sister Aya Kuromiya plays the bass, and Aya’s friend Hinako plays the guitar.
BRATS released the song “Ainikoiyo” in 2016 as the opening theme for the anime series To Be Hero, and the follow-up single “Nounai Shoukyo Game” was chosen for the feature film action comedy Slavemen.
In 2017, BRATS returned to the stage for their March 29 “Reborn” concert at Ikebukuro Live Inn Rosa, the band’s first live event in over 2 years. BRATS released their double-single “Ainikoiyo”/“Nounai Shoukyo Game” worldwide on June 21, 2017. Their debut album BRATS was released July 25, 2018.
