The Macross Frontier Galaxy Live☆Final 2025 two-day live concert will be released on Blu-ray April 29, 2026. Performed July 26-27 this year at K Arena in Yokohama, the event hosted 38,000 people, making it the largest event in the history of Macross.

17 years since Macross Frontier first aired on TV, the news was announced during Sheryl Nome’s birthday event on November 23. Not only is April 29 Ranka Lee’s birthday, it also marks exactly one year since the release of Macross Frontier All-Time Best Album Nyan Nyan Greatest☆Hits.
The Blu-ray release will include the encore segment of the concert that took place on Alto Saotome’s birthday July 27 with the appearance of special guest Yoko Kanno. The main disc will also include commentary on the concert by May’n and Megumi Nakajima.
Limited and special editions will include a photobook of the concert and a special Blu-ray disc featuring songs from the first day of the concert, making-of footage, and interviews. The special edition will also include a CD recording of the live concert, a set of two silver tape straps and two acrylic stands, all packaged in a deluxe “Yack Deculture” case. The cover illustration for the Blu-ray release, designed by character designer for Macross Frontier Risa Ebata, was also released.
