Film and television star Rinko Kikuchi, recently featured in HBO’s Tokyo Vice, stars as a daydreaming taxi driver in the new Mondo Grosso music video for “Crypt”, directed by Chiharu Shimura.
Featuring vocals by PORIN of Awesome City Club, “Crypt” transports Kikuchi from her 2 a.m. Friday shift in Japan to a dreamscape where she portrays her emotions through dance. Originally released on Mondo Grosso’s Big World album in February, the song was re-released as an EP in August featuring a Snail’s House remix.
