Japanese actress Miori Ichikawa will star in the upcoming film Yume Kanaeru Sauna, a story centered on the transformative experiences at a sauna that grants dreams, with scheduled screenings from December 17, 2023 at Theater Guild Shimokitazawa.
The film, which marks Ichikawa’s first feature lead role, focuses on personal growth and community connections through sauna culture. Ichikawa is a former member of Japanese idol groups AKB48 and NMB48. The film’s cast also includes model and actress Jun Amaki, former AKB48 member Rina Hirata, and actress Nako Miyase.
Ichikawa plays Nozomi, an office worker who lives day to day without ambition, alongside Amaki as Misa, an idol on the brink of failure, Hirata as Kana, the only married member of the group, and Miyase as the shy Nahonoka.
