Anisong super unit JAM Project — comprised of Hironobu Kageyama, Masaaki Endo, Hiroshi Kitadani, Masami Okui, Yoshiki Fukuyama — held a special concert at January 25 and 26 at Toyosu PIT in Tokyo. On the second day’s performance, they announced the release of their new song “Seijaku no Apostle”, the theme for One Punch Man Season 2, which will begin broadcasting in Japan in April 2019. “Seijiaku no Apostle” features lyrics by Yukinojo Mori, who has written lyrics for X Japan guitarist hide and several Dragon Ball Z themes, including “Cha-La-Head-Cha-La”.
In addition, the opening theme song for the PlayStation 4/Nintendo Switch game Super Robot Wars T, titled “Tread on the Tiger’s Tail”, was first performed by the group at JAM Project’s Osaka concert on January 13 and 14.
Both singles will be released April 24.
