ERY (KiLLKiLLS) and miko (exist†trace) star in new photo collection by Masanori Kato

A pair of Japan’s hardest rocking female musicians have teamed up for a new photobook titled CLOSSING ERY & miko.

ERY (bassist for KiLLKiLLS, Far East Phallus Kicker, Raglaia) and miko (guitarist, vocalist, and main songwriter for exist†trace) are close friends and active players in Tokyo’s rock scene. The artists posed for a series of elegant photos by renowned Japanese rock and fashion photographer Masanori Kato, who composed BOØWY’s famous silhouette portrait and has worked on projects with BUCK TICK, Gackt, DAIGO, LUNA SEA, and several others.

ERY and miko teamed up in 2019 for a music video cover of GLAY’s “BLACK MONEY”, and both are currently busy writing new material. ERY composed the single “Average Joe” and is a spokesperson for premium sweets. miko has also appeared as a fashion model for top-level brands in Tokyo.
