Satoshi Kon’s KON’S THEATER to screen Paprika 4k in Japanese theaters

Satoshi Kon’s animated masterpiece Paprika has received a 4K remaster which will be screened in theaters across Japan in January for its 20th anniversary.

Paprika, which was nominated for a Golden Lion at the 2006 Venice Film Festival, will be screened together with 4K remasters of Perfect Blue, Tokyo Godfathers, Millennium Actress, and Dreaming Machine in a special program titled “Satoshi Kon Theater KON’S THEATER”.

Each remaster was supervised by Madhouse, the studio that worked with Satoshi Kon on the originals. Paprika will be shown with subtitles in both Japanese and English.
