Jun Amaki has been cast in the Taya no Ryo Ichiza theatre company’s production, Isaya Island no Oujo to Kami no Migite (The Princess of Isaya Island and God’s Right Hand), scheduled to run October 15–18, 2020, at CBGK Shibugeki!! in Tokyo. The new work marks the troupe’s move into original theatrical writing and performance.
Amaki will join actors Kokoro Uchiki and Arisa Nakamura as characters in a fantasy adventure narrative centered on a princess of Isaya Island and the mysterious right arm of a god. The story blends action and comedy elements with a whimsical storyline, reflecting the troupe’s established reputation for energetic and visually engaging performances in previous stage work.
Director Ryo Taya described the original script as a culmination of the company’s creative development, emphasizing ensemble performance and imaginative world-building in its staging.
